Back to blogging

Well, it has been a very long time since I have blogged, over 3 years now. So I guess with this entry I'll just do a sum up. In those three years I've served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Costa Rica, having an incredible, life-changing experience strengthening my relationship with my Savior and completely falling in love with the people and the culture of Costa Rica. Pura Vida! Since returning home I've resumed my studies at Brigham Young University where I'm now a Junior in Electrical Engineering. The highlight of this last year at college was being able to go back down to Costa Rica with my Mom in April of this year to see the Cano Serrano family that I had taught while on my mission be sealed for time and all eternity in the San Jose Costa Rica Temple. It was the most beautiful experience I've had yet in my 22 years and I feel extremely blessed to have been able to attend.
So now, that brings us up to the present. I decided to stay at BYU during the summer to take a few classes to help speed along my graduation. Besides school I work, go running, go swimming, watch TV, go on tons of dates, and eat a lot. Pretty dang exciting.
Signing off, but not for three whole years this time, I'll write again soon.

Yay! Good for you, Douglas! I like it when you blog. :) Looking forward to more. I was just thinking last night that it would be awesome if you would post date ideas on here, because you've done lots of fun, creative things for dates.
